Chris Colijn
Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Ashland University. Chris has previously worked in private practice and community mental health settings and feels passionate about serving a variety of populations.
Chris prefers a client centered approach for counseling; he believes you are the expert on you, and he is there to help you get to your goals. Chris’ primary therapeutic modalities include CBT and EMDR. Chris has studied other modalities as well and believes that the best one is the one that fits you.
Chris works with clients aged 18 and over. Chris works with a variety of presenting problems, but he is especially passionate about burnout, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and addiction.
In his free time, you’ll find Chris playing video games, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.
