Stephanie Stevens

Stephanie is committed to working with both children and adults. Her practice is particularly attuned to the needs of neurodivergent individuals and those who suspect they may be neurodivergent. Knowing about the strong intersection of being neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+, she provides a safe container to process the complexity of life’s stressors and transitions while living with these beautiful attributes. She understands that every person's experience is unique, and strives to create a safe, inclusive, and understanding environment for all.

She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capital University with additional training in Trauma-Focused CBT and Neurodivergent-Affirming Play Therapy for children and adolescents.

Her therapeutic approach is primarily Person-Centered, ensuring that *your* specific needs and goals guide your work together. She is also informed by feminist and narrative theories, which help her to address the broader context of your experiences and empower you to author your own story.

Outside of the private practice setting, she has experience working in the Partial Hospitalization Program at Nationwide Children’s Behavioral Health Pavilion, providing intensive support to children and adolescents facing significant mental health challenges.
